Just a tip from Nana – those of us living in colder climates shouldn’t put growing plants on widow sills unless we’re sure that the glass is well insulted and won’t get too cold at night. Near a window is better than directly by a window. You want your plant to look as healthy and festive as the one photographed by Michael Piazza.
